About the marks on this gear
Fan merchandise splits into two worlds: the licensed kind, where the school or league has approved the artwork and gets paid for it, and the parking-lot kind, where nobody asked. Everything in this catalog belongs to the first world. Desert Cactus holds licensing agreements with professional leagues, dozens of colleges and universities, national Greek organizations and heritage brands, and pays royalties on every unit sold.
That matters beyond the legal footnote. Licensed artwork means the garnet is the right garnet and the script is the real script, reviewed by the people who own it. It is the difference between a flag that looks almost right and one that looks like the stadium.
The company behind the catalog is a Chicago-based Certified LGBT Business Enterprise. The vinyl decals come off its own press in Chicago and ship in recycled paperboard; the rest of the line is produced to the same specifications it has carried for years.
